The B&B has two rooms with private en-suite bathrooms: - The "Mare" room has exclusive use of the breakfast/kitchen area in order to offer a higher quality stay. - The breakfast/kitchen area (separate from the owner's) is equipped with independent air conditioning, a kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, induction hob, coffee/cappuccino/tea machine, and sink. - The "Monte" room has breakfast served in the room with a basket of products, and a refrigerator, microwave, and kettle are available. Both rooms have access to a purified water tap (still and sparkling) for refilling bottles. We provide a cellar for bike storage or other items, included in the price, upon request from our guests. We also have a garage below the house for an additional price, upon request from our guests. It is located on the third floor of an apartment building with an elevator, has a separate entrance, air conditioning, and free WiFi. It has been completely renovated with thermal and acoustic insulation, making it ideal for relaxation. The property is suitable for families, sports enthusiasts, and business travelers. No pets, even small ones, are allowed. Room cleaning is done every 1/2 days. The story of "Stelle di Mare" is a simple one, it is the story of Ste (fano) + Ele (na), from which a name and a logo that identify the B&B in Piazza Giuseppe Valerga in Loano derive. "Stelle di Mare" is indeed the perfect welcome, the right mix of simplicity and attention to detail, the ideal refuge for those who arrive in Loano and want to enjoy the beauty of this town. A "Mare" room with a balcony and a "Monte" room, more internal, are what you find when opening the two doors that lead from the kitchen, the common area where you can share breakfast or lunch in maximum comfort. "Stelle di Mare" was born from an idea five years ago when Stefano's family, consisting of his wife and two children, decided to buy another apartment next to their own to have a bit more space for themselves and to make a desire come true. "I have always been a welcoming, hospitable person, I love inviting people to my house and this idea had been buzzing in my head for a while. We seized the opportunity partly to cover expenses and make the most of our location, and partly to add an extra service to our Loano, the city where we live and work." Once the purchase was made, where to start? "We wanted this B&B to reflect who we are," Stefano continues, "but we also wanted it to be independent, autonomous, and comfortable for anyone who stayed here. So we opted for a modern, linear furnishing style, with carefully placed details and glimpses of Loano, such as the backdrops behind the two beds and in the showers, which are photographs by 'Gimelli Fotografo' and we believe they add a precious touch to the two rooms. Anyone who comes here should know two things: first, they have everything they need at their fingertips, and second, staying at Stelle di Mare is a bit like feeling at home." On the day of the inauguration, March 2, 2020, it anticipated the pandemic period known worldwide, but it still allowed the B&B to become known during the following summer seasons, where there was no shortage of visitors.
